Unleashing Potentials of Biotechnology in GBA
OHKF has partnered with two leading Chinese think tanks, the China Center for International Economic Exchanges and the China Development Institute, to take a deep dive into biotechnology. They will put forward recommendations on advancing the development of the Shenzhen/Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Co-operation Zone.

New TV Series Shows Deep Kinship between HK and China
Hong Kong Coalition and OHKF jointly title-sponsored a new historical info-segment series entitled Hong Kong Stories, China Heart that presents Hong Kong’s contributions to China’s development before and after the Handover. The ten episodes have been on air on multiple Phoenix TV channels since 5 July.

Charles Li Envisions Cashless Wave
Hong Kong should take full advantage of the cashless era so as to put ourselves in the forefront of the global financial market, former HKEX Chief Executive Mr Charles Li said in a keynote on “Hong Kong’s Role and Opportunities for Sustainable Financial Development” at INSIGHT FORUM.

Hong Kong Chronicles Wins Multiple Accolades
After snapping up a top spot on Sino United Publishing’s list of “Recommended Books 2020”, Hong Kong Chronicles: Overview & Chronology was recently named the winner of the “Social Sciences” and “Marketing” categories at the Hong Kong Publishing Biennale Awards 2021 organised by the Hong Kong Publishing Professional Society.

First Chinese Culture Quiz Came to a Fruitful End
“Take a Spark, Pass it on: The First Territory-wide Primary Schools Quiz Competition on Chinese History and Culture” co-organised by the Education Bureau and the ACS turned out to be a huge success, with 40,000 senior primary students from 227 schools joining the contest. Three schools stood out to win the top three honours.

OCS Book Fair Booths Attract Huge Fans
The Our China Story Online Platform joined the Hong Kong Book Fair and introduced the development of China to the public through interactive booths. Overwhelming responses have been received with more than 38,000 visitors participating in the engaging activities, and nearly 3,000 visitors have signed up on-site as members.

Unveiling Blueprint for New Territories Development
OHKF proposes a strategic blueprint for creating a truly livable Hong Kong and consolidating its international hub status in the latest land and housing report. The New Territories should be turned into Hong Kong’s strategic hinterland connecting with GBA and the world rather than as the mere outer zone of Hong Kong, the Report recommends.
