The Academy of Chinese Studies hosted a teaching practice case-sharing session titled "Rival or Assistant—When Teachers Meet AI" and a launch event for learning and teaching resources for the 2025–26 academic year on June 30 (Monday). The hybrid event attracted over 250 attendees both online and in person. Dr. Yau Yat, Executive Director of the Academy of Chinese Studies, delivered a welcome speech, noting that the effective use of AI has brought fresh perspectives to education, while also introducing new challenges.

The sharing session featured educators from primary and secondary schools, who discussed practical experiences in integrating AI and other technologies with diverse teaching strategies. They also introduced the content and design philosophy behind the new academic year’s resources.

Mr. Li Siu Kei, Assistant Principal of Methodist College, shared the school’s experience in enhancing reading instruction using AI and leveraging high-quality digital resources to foster “dual reading literacy.”

Ms. Alice Tung, Teacher-Librarian at Ho Ming Primary School (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen), showcased innovative applications combining AI with augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies.

Ms. Sally Chan, Chief Editor of the Academy of Chinese Studies, and Mr. Jackson Lam, Managing Editor, presented learning and teaching resources for the 2025–26 academic year.
