In a recent interview with CNN host Julia Chatterley, Bernard Chan, Chairman of Our Hong Kong Foundation, discussed the way forward for Hong Kong.

Bernard Chan stated that we are facing a crisis today, but Hong Kong has gone through many crises in the past. We always manage to rebound. He also pointed out that Hong Kong needs to reposition itself and find new competitive advantages to maintain its competitiveness in the region. He highlighted that Hong Kong will continue to serve as a major aviation hub and financial center in the region, and has emerged as a cultural center for the ASEAN region. He also stressed the importance of continuing to serve the Chinese market, particularly in meeting the growing demands of China's middle class.
