Mr. Paulo PONG

Mr. Paulo Pong is the Founder and Managing Director of Altaya Group which is an exclusive importer and distributor of internationally-acclaimed wine brands, a retailer and a provider of wine investment services in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He is also a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Classified Group of restaurants which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
 
In the arts, cultural and tourism sphere, Mr. Pong is the Chairman to the Board of Ocean Park Corporation; a Board Member of WKCDA; a Board of Director of M+ Museum Ltd; the Governing Board Chairman of JCCAC; a Member of Hong Kong Film Development Council and a Trustee of the Museum of Art.
 
Mr. Pong is also the Honorary Court Member of Hong Kong Baptist University; Member of HKTDC Hong Kong-Europe Business Council; Vice President of The Hong Kong Chinese Importers and Exporters Association; a Board Member, Executive Committee Member and Campaign Committee Chairman of The Community Chest; and the Advisor of the Our Hong Kong Foundation. He has been Justice of the Peace since July 2018.
 
Mr Pong obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre de Merit Agricole, the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Merit for his dedication in building business and tourism, arts, cultural and educational links between France and Hong Kong.
