Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) hosted an Insight Forum titled “Navigating the New Global Economy: Rethinking U.S.–China Economic Ties and Future Growth”, featuring Mitchell Presnick, Founder of Super 8 Hotels China and Honorary Fellow on Chinese Economy, Center for China Analysis of Asia Society as the keynote speaker. With over 35 years of expertise at the intersection of U.S.–China business strategy, capital markets, and geopolitics, he brings invaluable insights into how businesses and investors can navigate current geopolitical realities.
During the forum, Mitchell Presnick delivered an in-depth analysis of how U.S. and Chinese industrial policies, tariffs, and tech competition are reshaping global supply chains. He also highlighted how multinational corporations and global investors can structure dual-track corporate architectures to maintain growth in Western and Asian markets simultaneously, and emphasised Hong Kong’s strategic positioning as a neutral platform for capital risk management and cross-border commercial diplomacy.
