The Academy of Chinese Studies (ACS), an operating unit of Our Hong Kong Foundation, has joined hands with Tencent Foundation to launch the public welfare education project "Putonghua Fun Learning" (the Project). Since their collaboration began in 2022, the two organisations have focused on effectively integrating and promoting "Tech for Good" and Chinese culture to maximise their impact.

The "Putonghua Fun Learning" initiative offers a wide range of resources, including: an AI Putonghua learning app, online competitions and offline exchange activities, and complementary Putonghua learning materials aligned with ACS’s Chinese culture teaching resources. These activities and educational tools will be fully accessible to schools in Hong Kong and Macau at no cost, supporting the adoption of EdTech while fostering greater integration within the Greater Bay Area.

The Project is honored to have the Education Bureau as its advisory unit, alongside multiple supporting organisations.
