In 1995, when 《Fortune》 magazine first announced the world's top 500 companies, China was the world's most populous country, and no Chinese company was able to join it. In 2020, there will be 133 Chinese companies on the Fortune Global 500 list, surpassing the United States for the first time in history. After more than 40 years of reform and opening up, Chinese companies have officially gone international, showing that China has gone from lagging behind others to leading the world.
