位於廣州越秀區的石室聖心大教堂，是全球僅有的4座全石結構的哥德式教堂之一，由於教堂的全部牆壁和柱子都是以花崗岩石作為材料，所以有「石室」、「石室耶穌聖心堂」及「石室天主教堂」的名稱。

位於北嶽恆山金龍峽的一段峭壁懸崖上，有數段由紅色木柱支撑的棧道，棧道上面，大小40多間樓閣懸空聳立，這就是聞名世界的懸空寺。
