團結香港基金副總幹事兼公共政策部主管黃元山先生於2017年1月5日，率領研究團隊到訪香港應用科技研究院（應科院）。應科院行政總裁湯復基博士及金融科技副總裁王世松博士接待代表團，並詳細講解應科院最新的科研發展。

基金會致力於香港政策研究、倡議、推動以及推廣認識中華文化，為香港出謀獻策同時亦促進港人對中國近代發展認識和了解。當中不少活動更己成為知名品牌。

In the first year after its establishment, the Foundation organized a number of large-scale forums. We also reached out to all sectors of the community through activities of various forms and features. We hope they will help to foster harmony in society and enhance people’s understanding of the Foundation.

港科院、香港工程科學院及香港科學會，在香港科技界極具代表性，每一位會員都是獨當一面的業界精英，在千載難得的機會下，共同主持以「香港科創齊步向前」為題的論壇。
