Anthony Y.H. Fung is Dean of Faculty of Social Science and Director of Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also Professor in the School of Art and Communication at Beijing Normal University. His research interests focus on digital media, popular culture, youth and cultural studies, cultural industries and policy. He serves in various government committees. Currently he is member of the Steering Committee on Strategic Development of Information Technology in Education under the Education Bureau, member of the Expert Panel on Public Relations Strategy for Lantau Development and Conservation, Civil Engineering and Development Department, and member of the Communication Authority.
