Ms Maggie CHAN Man-ki

Ms Chan Man Ki Maggie MH JP received her Bachelor of Laws from The University of Hong Kong in 1991. Ms Chan is now practising as a Senior Partner of CMK lawyers, a China-Appointed Attesting Officer, an Accredited Mediator of Hong Kong, a Mediator of Shenzhen Qianhai Cooperation Zone People's Court, a Specially Invited Mediator of Guanzhou Court of The Internet Online Dispute Resolution Platform, an Arbitrator of Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, an Arbitrator of Shenzhen Arbitration Commission and an Arbitrator of Qingdao Arbitration Commission. 

She is now serving as a Deputy to National People’s Congress, a Hong Kong Representative of All-China Women’s Federation, a Member of Hong Kong Chief Executive Election Committee, a Council Member of Lingnan University, a Member of the Advisory Committee on Legal Advice for Unrepresented Litigants of Hong Kong, a Member of Chinese Association of Hong Kong and Macao Studies, a Council Member of Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation, a Member of China Nansha International Arbitration Centre Hong Kong-Macao Legal Expert Committee, an Advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation and a Founding President of the Small & Medium Law Firms Association of Hong Kong. She received Individual Awards from Hong Kong Home Affairs Bureau in Recognition Scheme for Provision of Pro Bono Legal Services in 2012, 2016 and 2017. Among her previous public services, she was a Hong Kong District Councillor, a Deputy Chairman of the Appeal Board Panel under the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance of Hong Kong, a Member of the Town Planning Board of Hong Kong, a Member of the Insurance Industry Advisory Committee of Hong Kong, a Member of the Equal Opportunities Commission of Hong Kong, a Member of the Council and the Court of City University of Hong Kong, a Member of the Legal Aid Service Council of Hong Kong, a Member of the Elderly Commission of Hong Kong, a Member of the Home Purchase Allowances Appeals Committee of Hong Kong, a Member of the Appeal Board (Hotel and Guesthouse Accommodation) of Hong Kong, a Member of the Appeal Board (Clubs (Safety of Premises)) of Hong Kong, a Member of the Appeal Board (Bedspace Apartment) of Hong Kong and a Member of the Appeal Panel (Housing) of Hong Kong.
