Jasmine is the Managing Partner for EY Hong Kong and Macau, leading a professional team of 3,500 people and overseeing all aspects of business operations in these locations. Prior to this position, Jasmine led EY Financial Services practices in Hong Kong and managed numerous significant business enhancement efforts for Hong Kong and Macau financial institutions with substantial exposure to the Mainland China market.
With over 25 years of professional experience, including 12 years in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, Jasmine has developed extensive expertise in working with Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese financial institutions across a wide range of assurance, strategy, and consulting services. She also advises senior management executives of leading financial institutions on their business growth and innovation strategies and offers advice on topics pertaining to strategy, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory development and operational transformation.
In addition to her professional commitments, Jasmine actively participates in public service through a variety of roles. She has been appointed by the Hong Kong SAR Government to several advisory bodies, including as a member of the Airport Transport Licensing Authority, a member of the Panel of Film Censorship Advisers, and a panel member of the Resolution Compensation Tribunal.
Jasmine is dedicated to talent development in Hong Kong. She is an Honorary University Fellow of Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) and sits on the International Advisory Board of Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration at HKMU. Additionally, she is a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Emerging Market Studies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Jasmine is a strong advocate of greater integration and cooperation within the Greater Bay Area (GBA). She spearheads the EY Greater Bay Area Center of Excellence, helping clients capture the enormous opportunities in the GBA. She is a frequent speaker on GBA-related as well as other business topics, regularly contributing to newspapers and publications. Jasmine currently chairs the Professional Accounting Sector of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Bay Area Economic and Trade Association, serves as a member of the Greater Bay Area Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the China Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, and is an advisor to Our Hong Kong Foundation.
Jasmine currently is the President and Co-Chair of the Mainland Affairs Committee of the Association of Women Accountants in Hong Kong. She also holds Council Member positions at the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Hong Kong Association of Registered Public Interest Entity Auditors Limited, the SMART Accountants Association and the Hong Kong Management Association.
Jasmine is a Fellow Member (Practising) of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. Moreover, she is a member of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance, CPA Australia, the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors, the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Women Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association.
