Prof Simon Kit Lung WONG

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the LH Group (HKEx: 1978). A graduate of the University of New South Wales, Simon holds multiple international professional engineering qualifications and a Master of Business Administration.

Simon is committed to the diverse development of society and industry, actively participating in various statutory bodies and government committees. He currently serves as Chairman of the Employees Retraining Board and the Energy Advisory Committee, and as Vice Chairman of the Community Care Fund, where he advocates for social responsibility and environmental sustainability. In addition, he is dedicated to advancing the Catering industry, holding positions such as Chairman of the Catering Industry Training Advisory Committee, Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Japanese Food and Cuisine Association, and Honorary President of the Institute of Dining Professionals.

Simon was appointed Justice of the Peace in 2014 and awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the HKSAR Government in 2021. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Business of City University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Council of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a member of the Committee of Overseers of Lee Woo Sing College at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
