Prof. Kevin Orr is the Group Vice President & Chief Investment Officer of Winner Medical Group by supporting group’s public affairs, sustainability, and strategic investments. He was a Committee Member of the 12th and 13th All-China Youth Federation, and was an Independent Non-Executive Director of Beijing Enterprises Urban Resources Group. He is currently a Member of the Beijing Tongzhou District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Prof. Orr is specializing in public health, primary care, and preventive medicine, he has involved in national & international humanitarian relief and emergency pandemic response since 2003, ensuring the supply of medical & protective equipment to protect frontline workers and the public community. He has also contributed to the founding of Hong Kong's Gerontechnology eco-system development. He has collaborated on frontier life sciences and medical research projects and won multiple international awards. His advisory positions serve at the Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center, and Master’s program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong's JC School of Public Health and Primary Care. He is the Founder & Co-President of the Life Sciences and Medical Development Foundation and Board of Director of the International Federation on Ageing.
Prof. Orr supports the community in youth, holistic well-being & mindfulness, and sports medicine development, by applying social innovation, value & impact investment models to promote AI programming and STEAM education, thereafter the programs have extended to foster the development and application of AI-driven large models to transform the medical & healthcare, translating digital economy & technologies to follow National’s "New Quality Productive Forces" initiative. He is actively nurturing young scientists by Medical-Engineering-Social collaboration and supports health promoting school movement, and he coordinates public administration & international affairs programs and internship programs for the youth. He is the Chairperson of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund Task Force under the HKSAR Government's Commission on Poverty, Vice President of the Centum Charitas Foundation, Senator of the Hong Kong United Youth Association, Adjunct Professor of the Department of Public and International Affairs at the City University of Hong Kong, and Advisor to the Centre for Health Education and Health Promotion at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
For the global mission of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 agenda, Winner Group’s Purcotton empowers "Power of Purcotton" charitable initiatives, including to collaborate with National Geographic China on art and light exhibition to promote the Green Eco-lifestyle benefits by Cotton materials and the group also produced a series of documentary for "She is a Change-Maker" to highlight the power of female role models, and launched the "Mountain & Sea Conservation" program advocating clothing recycling, plastic reduction, and cotton adoption. Winner Medical's innovative use of new cotton material was recognized by United Nations as Best Practice for Sustainable and Resilient Healthcare Innovation in China. Prof. Orr has been awarded the United Nations SDGs Pioneer (China), and also named among the Forbes China Greater Bay Area ESG 30 leaders. He serves as Vice President of the Beijing ESG Institute.
