Mr Felix LAI

Felix has directed a proprietary investment group and family office with interests in equity markets, alternative investments and real estate projects since 2012. He subsequently worked in an investment and business development role for a private equity real estate firm controlled by one of the most sophisticated and well-networked families in the region, making various successful investments in Vietnam and regionally. After many years, he believes Hong Kong has untapped potential to become a larger asset management hub for Southeast Asia investors, while global investors have ample opportunities to participate in the development of the emerging economies. Therefore, he has been partnering with high-net-worth families to strategically build legacies and make a lasting impact on the next generation.

Felix is passionate about serving the community, which has nurtured the growth of his family, with a sense of long-term stewardship and an endowment-like approach. He was a member of the Council and the Finance & General Purposes Committee of St John’s Cathedral, the parish church with a rich history in the Province of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui. He is the Chairperson of the Finance Subcommittee on the Bradbury School Council of The English Schools Foundation (ESF), supporting their mission of providing high-quality education to an international student body in Hong Kong.

Felix holds a BA and a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. He is a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
