Mr Dennis HO

Dennis is the Hong Kong Markets Leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong. He has over 30 years of extensive experience in providing assurance and transaction-related services. He has also assisted companies in preparing for listing in Hong Kong, Singapore and other stock exchanges. Dennis is frequently involved in advising and assisting Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland-based and multinational companies on corporate restructuring, transactions, mergers and acquisitions.

Dennis has been promoting the development of accounting profession in Hong Kong. He was the President of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) in 2015 and he actively participates in many statutory and professional committees, accountability boards, strategic working groups and task forces within the HKICPA. He was the Chairman of Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee, Nomination Committee and Audit Profession Reform Working Group of HKICPA, who played a key role in smooth transferring of regulatory power and functions to Accounting and Financial Reporting Council. Dennis also serves on a number of committees and public interest bodies of the Government of HKSAR. Dennis is currently a director of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited and a member of Estate Agents Authority. Dennis was the director of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and Urban Renewal Fund. He is a member of Standing Committee on Company Law Reform, Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Advisory Committee and Standing Committee on Disciplined Services Salaries and Conditions of Service. He also served as member of Human Capital Committee of Financial Services Development Council, HKTDC Mainland Business Advisory Committee, Steering Committee of Qualification Framework Fund of Education Bureau, Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Appeal Board, Insurance Appeals Tribunal, Securities and Futures Appeals Tribunal and Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme Vetting Committee. Dennis is appointed by Minister of Finance of the PRC as the Hong Kong Accounting Advisor and is a member of Election Committee of HKSAR. Dennis is the award recipient of Outstanding PolyU Alumni Award granted by Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2017 and Directors of the Year Award granted by Hong Kong Institute of Directors in 2022.
