Mr Kevin CHAN Wing-tak

Mr Chan is Executive Vice President of Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong -- a non-profit industry organization that was founded in 2016 and currently has 46 member banks, including all mainland Chinese banks operating in Hong Kong, as well as selected local and foreign banks. He also serves as an independent non-executive director of China Communications Construction Company Limited, Travelsky Limited and Royale Home Holdings Limited. With more than 30 years’ experience in finance, securities and banking, he previously held senior positions in HSBC Asset Management, Salomon Brothers, ING Barings, Nomura and CLSA Limited. He was also a senior advisor of KPMG China.

Mr Chan is currently a member of the 13th Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Election Committee (Finance subsector) of HKSAR, Chief Executive’s Policy Unit Expert Group and Independent Police Complaints Council.

Mr Chan graduated from London School of Economics and Political Science with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.
