Mr Kenneth LAM

Kenneth Lam is the Founder & CEO of SeaKapital Limited, a Ship Owning and Leasing Company based in Hong Kong providing long term sustainable and responsible capital for the shipping industry. Prior to founding SeaKapital, Kenneth has been a Managing Director and the Head of Shipping and Offshore in Asia at Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank. He has also been the Chairman and CEO of Credit Agricole Asia Shipfinance Ltd.

Kenneth is a National Committee Member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (“CPPCC”) and formerly a committee member of the CPPCC of the Sichuan Province. He is also an Independent Non-executive Director of Singamas Container Holdings Limited (Stock code:716).

Kenneth serves as a board or committee member of the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board (2018-2024), the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Development Board, the Board of Management of the Chinese Permanent Cemeteries, the International Chamber of Shipping, the Hong Kong Shipowners Association, the Hong Kong Chamber of Shipping and the Golf Association of Hong Kong China.

Kenneth is a Board Member of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, a Council Member of the St. Paul’s Co-educational College and an Independent Manager of the Buddhist Lam Bing Yim Memorial School.

Kenneth graduated from the Amherst College, Massachusetts, USA with a B.A. degree with honors in Philosophy and Economics.
