Dr Charles YEUNG

Dr. Charles Yeung, GBM, GBS, JP, is the Chairman of the Glorious Sun Group. He is Life Honorary Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Permanent Honorary Chairman of Hong Kong Culture Association, Life Honorary Chairman of Hong Kong Hakka Associations, Honorary Chairman of Hong Kong Guangdong Youth Association, and Council Member of Guangzhou Jinan University.

He was a member of the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th National Committee of Chinese .People’s Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Provisional Legislative Council of the HKSAR, Vice President of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, President of Guangdong Association of Overseas Investors, Chairman of The Hong Kong General Chamber of Textiles, and President of Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council. In 2016, Dr. Yeung was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Dr. Yeung established Glorious Sun Garment Factory in 1974. It has grown from a small factory into a multinational conglomerate known today as the Glorious Sun Group, with core businesses in property development, financial investment, retail and export of casual wear apparel, etc. The Group’s subsidiary, Glorious Sun Enterprises Limited, is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 1996.
