"CHINA TODAY II" EP11: Tibetan Art Museum – The Ganden Sumtseling Monastery, Yunnan
Located in Shangri La, The Ganden Sumtseling Monastery also known as the Little Potala Palace is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan Province. Modelled after the Potala Palace in Tibet, the monastery was built along the mountain slope. With gilded copper roofs over its two main halls and numerous wall-painting inside, the Sumtseling Monastery is also known as the Tibetan Art Museum.
