China's population accounts for one-fifth of the global population, but the area of arable land is less than 10% of the world. Food production has always been the top priority of China. Since 2004, China’s grain production has been harvested for 16 consecutive years. In the past five years, it has maintained an annual output of 1.3 trillion catties, which is equivalent to more than 1 kilogram of grain per person per day.
