The 2025-26 Budget is scheduled for release on 26 February. To enhance Hong Kong's competitiveness as an international logistics and shipping hub, Calvin Au, Senior Research Manager of Our Hong Kong Foundation proposes three recommendations: first, to form a Greater Bay Area Port Alliance to strengthen the region's negotiation power; second, to build a green fuel trading hub to reap profits presented by the growing demand; and third, to establish priorities and clear implementation schedules to maximise investment returns in transport infrastructures.
