The 2025-26 Budget is scheduled for release on 26 February. Dicky Chow, Head of Healthcare & Social Innovation of Our Hong Kong Foundation, proposes three suggestions to effectively control the Government's expenditure on healthcare and social welfare. First, encourage the private sector to promote ageing in place; second, strengthen community-based end-of-life care to alleviate hospital pressure; and third, achieve cost savings in healthcare through Utilizing eHealth+.

He emphasises that these recommendations not only help the Government reduce costs and optimise resources allocation but also provide more comprehensive support for Hong Kong residents and their caregivers.
