The 2025-26 Budget is scheduled for release on 26 February. To solve the shortage of technology transfer talent, Victor Kwok, Deputy Research Director of Our Hong Kong Foundation, recommends that the Government establish a Technology Transfer Talent Scheme under the ITC (Innovation and Technology Commission) to cultivate local talent and attract foreign experts, and also position the city as a leading innovation and technology hub.
