The 2025-26 Budget is scheduled for release on 26 February. Josselyn Chau, Research Manager of Our Hong Kong Foundation, believes that to establish Hong Kong as a capital of major sports events, it is hoped that the Government will focus on the development of sports venues and sportainment, thereby attracting more tourists to explore Hong Kong and stimulating the growth of the sports tourism economy.
