The 2025-26 Budget is scheduled for release on 26 February. Pascal Siu, Head of Green & Sustainability of Our Hong Kong Foundation, hopes the Government implement stronger measures to accelerate sustainability.

He recommends launching a dedicated green tech initiative to support the development of energy and waste management, sustainable supply chains, and other cutting-edge innovations, ultimately expanding green finance to unlock the carbon market.

He urges the Government to power up electrics vehicles (EV) adoption by introducing Time-of-Use pricing at public chargers and building the right infrastructure for a truly EV-friendly city.
