2025 Policy Address is releasing on 17 September. Joyce Chan, Researcher of Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF), mentioned that OHKF released a report titled “Breaking Boundaries to Develop Hong Kong into a Mega Sports Events Capital” in late August, to promote the comprehensive development of the sports industry through mega sports events.

She hopes the upcoming Policy Address will focus on funding and talent development, by utilising betting revenue to establish a Sports Industry Development Fund, and nurturing industry talents to provide comprehensive professional support for major sports events.
