Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) and Hong Kong Coalition jointly launched a new report on the opportunities and challenges for Hong Kong youth entrepreneurship in Guangzhou on 20 June. In response to the challenges faced by Hong Kong youth starting their own businesses in Guangzhou, the report proposed a total of seven policy recommendations to the Hong Kong SAR Government, the government of Guangzhou Municipality, and other relevant institutions to help the business development of Hong Kong entrepreneurial youth in Guangzhou. 

Victor Kwok, Assistant Research Director and Head of Education & Youth, OHKF, found that Hong Kong youth entrepreneurs in Guangzhou sometimes might not fully comprehend the subsidy policies. He made suggestions on establishment of an information platform for Hong Kong youth entrepreneurs in the Greater Bay Area, by making use of the HK Youth+ mobile app launched by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, and increase of life-supporting services for Hong Kong youth entrepreneurs.
