OHKF Delegation visited the Hydrogen Facilities

11 Sep 2025 (Thu)

On 11 September 2025, Dr Jane Lee, President of OHKF, and Kenny Shui, Vice President of OHKF and Executive Director of the PPI, led a delegation on a guided visit organized by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department. The delegation's first stop was the public hydrogen station in Yuen Long, where they learned about the sources of hydrogen and its primary user: the government hydrogen-powered street cleaning vehicles. They engaged in in-depth discussions on optimizing local hydrogen energy applications. Following that, the team visited the hydrogen facility at the Padel Club in Sai Kung, where they examined how gas is converted into hydrogen and discussed strategies for promoting the implementation of more trial projects, with the hope that Hong Kong will gradually transition into the era of green hydrogen.
