OHKF Vice President Ryan Ip Shared Insights on Northern Metropolis Development
Ryan Ip, Vice President of Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) and Executive Director of Public Policy Institute, was invited to speak at the Sing Tao Real Estate Development Trends Forum 2025 on 9 September.
He participated the panel, entitled Building the Future City of Northern Metropolis: Pioneering New Thinking, and shared insights on the innovative financing of the Northern Metropolis.
Other guest speakers included Stewart Leung, Chairman of Wheelock Properties, and Chairman, the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong; Tse Wai-chuen, Member of the Legislative Council of HKSAR for the Architectural, Surveying, Planning and Landscape functional constituency; Professor Ling Kar-kan, Interim Vice President (Campus Development and Facilities), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Chairman of the Hong Kong Housing Society; Dr Cheung Tin-cheung, Chairman of the Hong Kong Green Building Council.
OHKF published its advocacy research, entitled "Bridging Ambition and Reality: Executing and Financing the Northern Metropolis", on 11 September. The report put forward 4 policy recommendations. Click to learn more!
