Dicky Chow, Assistant Research Director of Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) was invited as a roundtable panellist at the Roundtable Seminar: Expanding Horizons for Cross-border Elderly Care through Quality of Life: Opportunities and Challenges, organised by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service on 10 April. Other speakers included Professor Elaine Ho from the National University of Singapore, Dr Florence Fong from the Asia-Pacific Institute of Ageing Studies at Lingnan University, Mr Jackie Tsui from Clifford Medical Group, and Mr Eric Chan from Taikang Hong Kong. The session was hosted by Business Director of HKCSS Anthony Wong .

The roundtable examined the push and pull factors driving cross-border retirement and elderly care in the Greater Bay Area. Dicky highlighted the need for mutually recognised medical terminology, processes, and standards between HK and the mainland as a for effective and seamless cross-boundary healthcare delivery.
