Our Hong Kong Foundation 10th Anniversary Cocktail Reception
Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) celebrated its 10th anniversary yesterday (25 September). The cocktail reception was attended by principal officials of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government, officials of the Central People's Government’s offices, benefactors and individuals, professionals in politics and business, collaborative partners, think tanks, chambers of commerce, consular officers in Hong Kong, professionals, and academics, along with members of the OHKF's executive committee, governors, special counsellors, members of each council and advisors. Over 900 guests participated in the reception, reflecting on the OHKF’s achievements over the past decade and initiating the new journey for the next decade together.
The foundation was honored to receive a congratulatory letter from Xia Baolong, Director of Hong Kong and Macao Work Office of CPC Central Committee and Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of The State Council, which was read out by Bernard Chan, Chairman, OHKF at the event. The five officiating guests included John Lee, Chief Executive of HKSAR; Zheng Yanxiong, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR; Cui Jianchun, Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the HKSAR; Chen Feng, Deputy Head of the Office for Safeguarding National Security of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China in the HKSAR; and Andrew Leung, President of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
On the 10th anniversary celebration, OHKF expressed gratitude to all walks of life for your continuous support. OHKF deeply feel that I am charged with a heavy responsibility. In line with previous commitments, OHKF will continuously explore new ideas and horizons, and, under “One Country, Two Systems”, forge ahead with five key directions. Furthermore, OHKF will retain its active engagement with various sectors and strive to collaborate with all stakeholders to make new contributions to the prosperity, stability, and sustainable development of Hong Kong.
