OHKF Delegation visit to HKSTC: Future development of testing in Hong Kong
Dr Jane Lee, President of Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF), led a delegation to visit the headquarters of the Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre (HKSTC) in Tai Po. They were warmly received by Bernie Ting, Vice Chairman, HKSTC, and Professor Richard Fung, Chief Executive, HKSTC, who introduced the Centre’s operations and testing processes.
OHKF’s delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with HKSTC representatives about the role, history, and future development of testing in Hong Kong. The delegation then toured various testing facilities, including those for chemical, pharmaceutical and food testing, radiation testing, and toy testing, gaining insights into the equipment used and the practical operational procedures.
On behalf of OHKF, Dr Lee presented Professor Fung with Hong Kong Chronicles: Overview & Chronology and the annual report of OHKF as tokens of appreciation. Dr Lee expressed gratitude for HKSTC’s warm hospitality and arrangements, and looked forward to future collaboration between the two parties.
