Located in Xinghua of Taizhou in Jiangsu, Duotian Town is known as the Town of a Thousand Island. In March and April every year, when spring is in the air, this place blooms into a maze of golden rapeseed flowers, attracting tourists from all over. Unlike other scenic spots with rapeseed flowers, the one of Duotian that’s set on “raised fields”, creating a unique image of “Thousands of river-bends flows blue water, all raised fields grow yellow flowers”. Viewed from above, it’s like a patchwork of islands, which is why it’s also referred to as the “Thousand Island rapeseed flowers”.
