The world-famous Hanging Temple, known as the 'Temple in the Sky', located on a cliff at the Jinlong Gorge of Nothern Hengshan are sections of a plank road supported by red wooden posts. Poet Li Bai of the Tang Dynasty described it as “more than spectacular” in celebration of its beauty.
