New China’s domestic TV dramas were born in 1958, and have gone through more than 60 years. The theme has changed from recording social scenes and history, and now gradually forming its own set of artistic styles. The scale of China's TV drama market was 78.8 billion in 2015, and it is estimated that it will exceed 140 billion this year. The growing scale of the domestic TV drama market reflects the vigorous development of China's film and television creation; and the success of domestic TV dramas spread out to foreign countries also proves that China's soft power has gained world's recognition.
