In complying with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the laws of the Hong Kong, we strive to safeguard your data privacy. This Statement sets out matters relating to the collection and use of your personal data.
Collection of Personal Data
You may need to register, and provide personal data in order to have access to certain Information or Services on our Website. Your personal information will also be collected when you participate in any activities organized by OHKF/provided on the OHKF Website or when you change your personal information.
The submission of personal data is voluntary. However, insufficient personal data may prevent us from responding to a request or answering an enquiry. The personal data will be destroyed within three months after the programme.
When you browse the website, certain data such as your Internet Protocol address (IP address), domain name, browsing date and time, the last website you browsed, the type of your browser, the files and path you browsed will be recorded in the server of the website. The collection of such data is for statistical purposes, which allows us to understand which parts of the website would attract a larger number of visitors in order to assist in serving the users of the website better.
The said collection process would not record your name. If you have not specified your identity in the website, your use of the website would not be linked with such data.

Upon submitting entry, applicant agrees to accept all Terms & Conditions and agrees to the Official Guidelines as stipulated and also to those that maybe introduced later by the Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) to ensure the smooth running of the program.
2. Deposit and Coverage
Successful applicants will have to pay deposit of $2,500. This will be refunded upon completion of the entire programme.
Accommodation, transportation (including airfare), and meals throughout the programme are covered. Travel insurance is not included, participants have to make their own arrangements.
3. Logistical Changes
All arrangements and schedules advertised are subject to changes.
4. Behaviour and Conduct
Participants are expected to attend punctually all activities arranged for the visit programme, and are expected to demonstrate mature conduct and behavior throughout.
5. Data Protection and Privacy
The information provided in this form will be used for processing and making logistical arrangements under this programme organized by OHKF. It may be disclosed to officers in OHKF and the participating organizations who are required to handle the personnel matters related to making the arrangements. You have the right to request access to or correction of personal data provided in this form in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
6. Photography, Video and Sound Recording
OHKF and/or its representatives may take photographic and/or video footage of participants for publicity purposes. By accepting these terms and conditions, the applicant provides consent to the use of such photographic and/or video materials and no further consent is required. Participants who do not wish to be filmed or photographed must advise OHKF both prior to departure and as the video or photography is about to take place.
7. Force Majeure
OHKF will not be liable in instances where it is not able to deliver any services to which they are otherwise contractually bound due to adverse weather conditions, natural disaster, labour dispute, fire, government act, industrial action, failure of supplier or subcontractors or any other reason which is beyond the control of OHKF.
Participants are expected to make their own arrangements for insurance. OHKF shall not be responsible for any health or medical issues, and loss of personal property throughout the entirety of the programme.
9. Special Requirements
Participants are expected to inform OHKF of any special requirements such as dietary needs prior to departure.
10. Right of Final Decision
OHKF reserves the right of final decision on the interpretation of these terms and conditions.
