Mr. Lam Woon-Kwong

Lam Woon-Kwong graduated from the Social Sciences Faculty of the University of Hong Kong (1974). He received his Master Degrees in Public Administration from the Harvard University (1987) and Buddhist Studies from the University of Hong Kong (2007). He held a Secretary rank post in the former Hong Kong Government (1996-97). He then served as a Principal Official (1997-2002) and Director of the CE's Office (2002-05) under the accountability system in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. He was the Chief Executive Officer of the Equestrian Events (Hong Kong) of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad Company Limited (2006-09), the Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Commission (2009-12), and the Senior Non-official Member of the HKSARG's Executive Council (2012-17).
