    Stan Tang

    Mr. Stan Tang, Chairman of Stan Group, has over 15 years of solid experience in property investment, asset management and business operations. As an active transformational entrepreneur merging Eastern wisdom with Western insights, Mr Tang has led the transformation of the Group from property-focused model into a leading conglomerate with a unique corporate culture, contemporary corporate management and broad array of businesses. Committed to sustainable business development and social investment, Stan Group manages a HK$75 billion real estate portfolio in strategic partnership with the Tang Shing-bor family and operate more than 40 respected brands across six business pillars: property, hospitality, communication services, financial services and two pillars driven by The STILE, innovative businesses with social purposes, namely senior care services and entrepreneurial platform. 

    As well as his business activities, Mr. Tang actively participates in serving communities and philanthropy work, especially in the areas of youth service, local entrepreneurial development, housing in Hong Kong, education and services for the elderly. He has been appointed to serve on various government advisory and statutory bodies in Hong Kong, Mainland China and internationally. 

    He is currently a Chief Advisor to the Honorary Consul for Fiji in Hong Kong, an Award Council Member for the Hong Kong Award for Young People, a Member of the Labour Advisory Board Committee on Labour Relations, a Member of the Yau Tsim Mong District Fight Crime Committee,  a Co-opted Member of Task Force of The Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund, an Executive Member of Y.Elite Association and a Chairperson of committee on Industries & Commerce of Y.Elite Association, a Executive Director of Hong Kong United Youth Association, and the 3rd Vice Chairman of the Lions Club of Huaxia Hong Kong. 

    As for Mr. Tang’s social philanthropy work, he is currently a Director on the of board of The Community Chest of Hong Kong, a Chairman of the organising committee for “Community for the Chest”, a TV show created by The Community Chest of Hong Kong, a Director of Innovative Entrepreneur Association, and a Chairman of the organising committee for the Hong Kong International Entrepreneurs Festival 2019.

    Mr. Tang is actively engaged in the development of the Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative. Currently, he is a Director of the China Overseas Friendship Association, a Standing Committee member of The Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference – Dongguan, a Vice Chairman of the Chongqing Youth Federation, a Advisor of Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, a Vice President of the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation, and a President of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Bay Area Economic and Trade Association. In 2019, he also founded the Dongguan-Hongkong Bay Area Association and is serving as the Chairman, with an aim to bring new vitality into the economic development of the area. 

    Mr. Tang graduated from University of Western Ontario with an Executive Masters in Business Administration degree and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with an Executive Masters in Innovation Leadership degree. He also received an Honorary Fellowship from The Professional Validation Centre of Hong Kong Business Sector in 2019.

    Mr. Tang contributes bylined articles regularly to local newspapers, sharing insights related to issues on economy, public policy and youth development.
