Ms. Cindy CHOW

Ms. Cindy Chow is currently the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund (AEF). AEF was founded in 2015 with the mission of helping Hong Kong-based entrepreneurs and young people realize their dreams and visions for their businesses and communities. To fulfil this mission, AEF invests into startups and organizes various activities to bolster innovation and entrepreneurship.

Cindy joined Alibaba Group in 2007 as the Senior Director of International Finance, focusing on financial control and capacity until she assumes her current role. Before joining Alibaba Group, Cindy worked in a number of Hong Kong listed companies, specializing in financing, management reporting and planning. 

Cindy holds a Master of Business Administration and is a certified public accountant. She is a member of the Committee on Innovation, Technology and Re-industrialisation, a member of the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research of the HKSAR Government, a member of Occupational Safety & Health Council, a member of the Vice-Chancellor’s Global Alumni Advisory Board of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a member of Committee on Innovation, Technology and Re-industrialisation of Hong Kong Trade Development Council,  an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation, a director of SEED Foundation and more. Through different initiatives launched by AEF and in her own capacity, Cindy aspires to help young people to unleash their potential and pursue a better future.
