New TV Series of 120 Episodes of Magnificent China
China’s great reform is a story of miracles. To help Hong Kong people understand the tremendous development in China today, the OHKF title-sponsored all-new 1.5-minute info-segment series that showcase the stunning achievements and the opportunities at a time of mega changes of China in 120 episodes. The first series Our Magnificent China is now on the air on multiple TVB channels till 24 July.

A Global City of the Future—Envisioning Sustainable Urbanisation of the New Territories
To solve the chronic severe land shortage in Hong Kong, a multi-pronged approach must be adopted. The OHKF will launch a new report on 8 July on land and housing shortage, revealing the strategic development blueprint of turning the New Territories into a City of the Future and for the future.

International Debut of Hong Kong Chronicles
The Hong Kong Chronicles Institute made its international debut, engaging the UK members of the Royal Asiatic Society Hong Kong. In the virtual conference on 14 May, Professor Lee Chack-fan, Chief Convenor of the Institute’s Editorial Review Committee, shared the Institute’s editorial plan, organisational structure, and the significance of Chinese local chronicles with overseas audience.

Enriching Student Learning with New Resources
The Academy of Chinese Studies introduced new learning and teaching resources and school activities for the upcoming school year on 18 June. Experienced principals and teachers attended the webinar and shared insights on promoting extensive reading and education of the Basic Law.

Share Your Memorable China Story
The Our China Story Online Platform is organising “My China Story” writing competition from now till 7 July, inviting readers to submit stories on their experiences with China. Moreover, the Platform will participate in the HK Book Fair in July to reach out to the community and introduce the development of modern China through interactive booths.

Digital Currency: The Rising Trend for HK
In the webinar “New Trend of Digital Currency” organised by the Maritime Silk Road Society, OHKF Senior Vice President & Executive Director of Public Policy Institute Mr Stephen Wong pointed to the rapid development of China’s digital currency. He underlined that Hong Kong should grasp the pace of our country and leverage our advantages as an international financial centre to help further internationalise the Renminbi.

China's BeiDou Navigation Goes Global
Dr Xu Ying, the youngest Researcher ever at the Academy of Opto-Electronics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave an inspiring speech at the “China Masters Series” webinar on 3 June. She shed light on the wide-ranging applications of the BeiDou satellite system for different industries, and its high precision global coverage.
