Experts Discuss HK’s Democratic Development
Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies President Xu Ze said HK’s democratic development must ensure that patriots govern the city. Over 100 government reps and experts from China, HK, and Macao explored democratic development under “One Country, Two Systems” at a seminar co-hosted by the Association, One Country Two Systems Research Institute, and OHKF.

Hong Kong Chronicles Wins Another Award
After winning multiple accolades, the first book of Hong Kong Chronicles, Overview & Chronology, was awarded the 14th Hong Kong Book Prize by RTHK and Hong Kong Publishing Federation, adding another bright feather to the HKCI cap.

Training Webinar on Citizenship and Social Development
The EDB and the Academy of Chinese Studies (ACS) co-hosted a training webinar for 160 teachers on Citizenship and Social Development. HKU’s Assistant Professor of Architectural Conservation Dr Lee Ho-yin and ACS Executive Director Dr Yau Yat keynoted on “The Multicultural Characteristics of Hong Kong Society”, and introduced ACS teaching resources.
